Wonderful stay! Dahlia at front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating and took a personal interest in making our stay enjoyable. We arrived with little sleep from an early flight.She provided local food recommendations and even offered to call when the room was available. Previous reviews seemed bent on sabotage. There was no such thing as lack of hot water. No problem with climate control-A/C worked great, bed and pillows very comfortable. Room very clean and quiet as requested.

This hotel is absolutely stunning. Spacious rooms. Kitchenette with great appliances. Balcony and room provided great views. A block from the Ped mall and restaurants and shops. A+ facility. Delicious coffee bar and food on 2nd floor. Movie theatre on first floor. Fun little bowling alley and arcade and food on first floor. We loved all the conveniences.

Rooms were exceptional. Loved the kitchen area and its high end appliances. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, glasses, etc. Keurig also an added plus. Ultra clean, modern and a great location. The amenities are great. Spare Me bowling was an unexpected surprisingly great bar ! Great craft cocktails. Adam the bartender was awesome ! Lovely coffee bar as well. There is also an indépendant film theatre! I highly recommend this hotel. Great Value! Parking garage on site! You will love your stay!

It was centrally located in downtown Iowa City. The room was enormous with a kitchen. The building is home to other business and has permanent residents. The hotel occupies only 4 of the 12 floors in the building. The view from my room was spectacular. I had a corner room with floor to ceiling windows on two walls. The decor is super sleek and modern. I wasn't disturbed one bit even with Pridefest in full swing and multiple bars nearby.

The front desk clerk was friendly and quirky in the best possible way. The hotel is in a mixed use building that featured a movie theater and restaurant with a bowling alley and arcade, which was unexpected and fun.

The architecture and design of Hotel Chauncey are exquisite, and marvel some of the finer hotels I've visited in Europe. I was very impressed with the fit and finishes, including the shower, appliances, and a modern coffee maker. The ample space in our room was astounding. The front desk accommodated our request for a late check-out, and provided free parking due to an unexpected downgrade in room

Beautiful views, close to everything, Wonderful coffee shop with super nice baristas. The room was huge and it was like being at home. Had everything we needed.
